Links- Observing the International Space Station from Earth

Have you ever seen the ISS pass overhead just after sunset? It is quite a sight. When a shuttle is docked or any spacecraft is rendezvousing with the ISS, the view is even more impressive. (If you haven’t already checked out Heavens Above to find out when the ISS is overflying your house, do it soon!)

Wouldn’t it be even more amazing if we could see the details of the ISS as it flew over, instead of a very bright point? Well, it has been done, but it takes a lot of telescope to do it. Thankfully, you can see resulting pictures, here, here, and here.
