How do I get technical support for my Mac or Apple Software?

You have a few options…

First off, the quickest way to get support with your Apple software or hardware is to call AppleCare: 1-800-APL-CARE. Hopefully you purchased the AppleCare Protection Plan, which gives you three years of cost-free phone support. If not, and you’re still within 90 days of your Mac purchase, relax–it’s still free. This is the best way to solve your problem–technicians trained to solve technical issues, and with technical references right at hand can walk you through your issue as you sit in front of your Mac.

Anyway, failing all that, you can try the new Genius Bar Reservation System, and come in to the store (probably with your Mac) to talk to an in-house experts. It’s a brand new system–check it out!
