Observation Log 11/17/03

It was time to start writing these down, so here goes…

Using the Canon 10x35IS binoculars– looking for Comet Encke-no joy. Easily located the correct celestial coordinates on two evenings; too much haze, even with the New Moon. Found Arrow, M31, Orion Nebulae, open cluster in Perseus’ armpit. Traced Swan, Perseus, Andromeda, Aquila, Ursa Minor. Found Saturn in Twins; bright, but rings not visible @ 10x.
